The kids at PS 118 got a free day for Career Day. Students pick up a slip of paper, Arnold got to work with the grumpy Jolly Olly Man. The Jolly Olly man asked Arnold to sit on the freezer; he asked him to clean the freezer, and he forbids him to give children ice cream. The Jolly Olly man gave a kid a strawberry ice cream bar instead of chocolate. He passed by some kids without stopping. The Jolly Olly man told Arnold he will give him an F. The Jolly Olly Man’s boss gives him until the sun goes down to sell out all his ice cream. The Jolly Olly Man told Arnold that he has to give ice cream in front of the rowdy crowd of kids everyday. He told him that his boss is his father. Arnold deals with the Jolly Olly Man he’ll help him sell his ice cream, and he’ll give him a passing grade. Arnold teaches the Jolly Olly Man to smile in front of the kids and keep his truck neat. Every customer matters. Time is almost over. Arnold suggests the Jolly Olly man to stop by PS 118 and sell the remaining of his ice cream. The Jolly Olly Man told Arnold he will give him an F for Friendly. He will get an A.
