Ye-leut Jung-yun and Princess

It’s been a while i haven’t been drama blogging.

Been watching Heroic Legend of Yang Family 1994. There’s a lot of stories in this series but I’ll break down this interesting side story of Ye Leut Jung Yun and the princess. It’s a complicated series with a few Chinese Historical character. I’ll try my best to break down the story briefly as I can.

Yang Zhong Bao and Zhan Zhao went on a mission in Mongol. Yang Zhong Bao got caught by the prince of Mongol Ye Leut Jing Yun. As Ye Leut Jung Yun hit Yang Zhong Bao on his body he saw an eagle symbol on his chest and doubt his identity of being a Han.

He asked his mother about his identity and discovered he is half Mongol and half Han. After discovering his identity of his father being a Han, he felt guilty of killing millions of his own people in the war in the past. He bids farewell to his wife to visit the Yang to reunite with his long lost family. His wife, the princess and his mother worried that reuniting with the Yang won’t help him since the Hans will always consider him a Mongol and his enemy.

After reuniting with the Yang, Pong TaiSeng’s son Pong Fu found got a plan to cause chaos for the Yang. He tries to frame The Yang of keeping a Mongol to rebel against the Song. In his plan, Pong Fu has changed Ye Leut Jung Yun’s letter to the princess that he’s caught by the Song. The princess got mad and impulsively gather the Mongol troops to attack the Song. They got sentenced and locked in Judge Bao’s cellar.

Pong Taiseng hurriedly trying to behead Ye Leut Jung Yun and the princess. Zhan Zhao stopped it during the execution and claimed the case is till under Kaifeng Court. The majesty ordered Pong Fu and Zhan Zhao to guard the cellar. Muk Gwai Ying fought with Zhan Zhao in the cellar wanting to save Ye Leut Jung Yun. As Pong Fu surrounded them with the guards, Ling Er’s mother uses her powder on them and they escaped.

Ye Leut Jung Yun and the princess happily looked at their baby. As they leave the Song, they got stopped by Zhan Zhao. Zhan Zhao gave his badge under Judge Bao’s order to have permission to leave the gate as he know that if he kept them in his cellar, it would cause another war between the Mongol and the Song.
